About this School Project (KG Arctic Animal Landscapes)
Welcome to Arctic Animals! Students take a trip with National Geographic Kids to the arctic in North America to learn about arctic animals and nature. We learn about artist Ted Harrison who creates art about animals and landscapes. Students create a landscape of hills using organic shapes and a variety of lines, then paint their landscape using watercolor paints. Students then draw an arctic animal using geometric shapes, black crayon and add texture lines for fur. We then cut out our animals and glued them onto our landscapes.
