About this School Project (3rd Pop Art Food Sculptures)
Third grade students studied the 3D sculptures of many Pop Art artists focusing on color, form, and shape. Students were inspired to design their own Pop Art sculptures by selecting their favorite foods, drawing a sketch and plan for their clay, then translating their design into a 3D sculpture. Students used different techniques to assemble their sculptures. Lastly, students colored their sculptures to make them look realistic, like Pop Art.
