This picture of Clara holding the nutcracker is so festive with the Christmas tree and brightly wrapped presents behind Clara. The details on her dress and shoes are incredible, and the fire in the fireplace gives warmth to the scene. You’ve caught her on pointe in arabesque beautifully. This reminds me of my favorite painting, Vincent van Gogh’s “Starry Night”. I love the way you painted the sky; the stars look like they’re dancing across the sky! I like the way the light from the stars is reflected on the ground. Beautiful?? Love you, GranJan
