The different patterns in the words created a good unity in the drawing. Also, the symmetry of the eagles face is well defined on each side which made the transfer of the artwork better. The flag has a lot of emphasis due to the contrast added onto it to make it standout more.

This is amazing! The way the coy fish flows like it would in the water is great representation. The water blends in with the art so well. The Lili pads look super realistic and the use of form and texture is really present in this piece.

This eagle is very unique as it shows a lot of patterns, and it gives a sense of unity. The first thing I noticed was that there are a lot of lines on this piece of artwork which creates a pattern. This artwork is also greatly balanced with a lot of little details shapes.

The contrast creates a good unity as well as covering the negative space. There is also a good balance between the black and white space providing good emphasis on the drawing.

Although there was no color used in the piece, the black and white actually aids in the depth of the piece. The simplicity of the color allows for the entire focus to be on the fish, but what specifically caught my eye was the way that the fish seems to flow outwards into the bubbles, the illusion of the fins is done very well, it’s like a still shot moment of a fish in the sea.
