The use of blue and black creates movement throughout the piece. The shape and size of the fish reinforce it as the focus of the image, with the lily pads and water are the supporting details. Lastly, the splatter white paint throughout the piece creates the illusion of texture. All in all, the shapes and colors create amazing unity throughout.
