I have always been an artist! As a young child I always doodled, painted and dreamed of someday having my own art studio. I have worked as a freelance artist for over 25 years. My favorite medium is painting in oils, a very close second is printmaking. I have a degree in graphic Design from the Art Institute of Houston and a Fine Arts degree from McNeese State University. In 2011 I became certified to teach Art in the State of Louisiana, and I am excited about the new opportunities awaiting me. I love Iowa High School - Middle Campus and I hope to encourage many young people to pursue their dream of working in the Arts.
