My name is Lisa Vlamis, and I am the art teacher at Cherokee Elementary School. I teach Kindergarten through fourth grade, and enjoy bringing out the creativity and uniqueness in each and every one of my students. I love that I get to watch my students grow over a five year period, and really get to know them as individuals. We have a lot of fun in art class, and I'm so happy to get to add to what I hope is a lifetime love of art. I enjoy all kinds of art, and going to as many museums and galleries as I can. Like many of my students, my favorite medium is clay, be it hand building or working on the pottery wheel. I also enjoy painting and crafts, including jewelry/metals and sewing.
