i presently teach humanities at a Aurora Academy, a charter school in Toledo Ohio. i have done art most of my life. I have a TBI (tramatic head injury) during my recovery i used art for communication and to deal with other problems associated with TBI. I belong to several art groups for those with disabilities. I have had several pieces travel Ohio, was asked to do a special piece for an art show about Nam. I have had pieces tour with the Very Special Arts program.
I presently teach K-8 art and 3-8 general music. With the ohio art standards now in place, it provides the opportunity to address many more art issues.
