This is my third year teaching in the Evanston/Skokie School District 65 as a full-time art teacher. I currently teach visual art to all K-5 students at Lincolnwood Elementary School in Evanston. One day a week I also work at Park, a special services school where I do art therapy with the children, ranging from age 4 to 21. To me, art is just as much about process as it is product. I try to direct my students' energy into creating expressive artwork that they feel confident about.
