Nikki Nicholas
I teach 4th and 5th grade art at Mauger and see my classes 2x a week every other marking period. We will do a variety of projects with different media, and the work will be posted here.
About me: I graduated in 2011 from Monmouth University with a BA in Art Education. After graduating, I did graphic design and social media for a Nutritional Supplement company based in Middlesex. However, my passion has always been teaching, so when I was presented with an opport ... read moreunity to teach dance and gymnastics full time at The Little Gym, I took it. Because I then had off on strange days, I was able to start subbing in the Middlesex District. I started teaching here regularly during the 2015-2016 year, and I absolutely love it! I try to teach my students about problem solving and making our mistakes work with our project instead of starting over. I like to instill confidence in them every time they come to class, so they will feel excited and happy to be creating art with me. My hope is that they will continue to grow with not only their skills, but their self confidence.
