Nichol Kamholz
My name is Nichol Wind Kamholz and I am thrilled to be the new Art Teacher at Sheridan Hills! I look forward to getting to know the students, families, staff and community here. I am currently in the Master of Arts in Instruction program at Saint Mary's University in Minneapolis and I have a teaching license in Elementary Education as well as Visual Arts. I have always loved working with children and have had a great deal of experience with this through fieldwork in and out of the classroom and volunteer organizations for the past 11 years. I believe that we are all born with a basic, intrinsic desire to discover, and it is my mission to help young students tap into this search for meaning and purpose through creative artistic experiences. It is my goal to reach children as individual and diverse learners by engaging them in inspiring activities that will help them understand themselves better and relate to an ever-changing world. I feel blessed to be a part of Richfield Public Schools!
Students will be exposed to a wide variety of art media, concepts, and history within varying themes.
