Meet the Teachers  at Robert E Ellis Middle School (Hendersonville, Tennessee)

	Stephanie Sylvester Stephanie Sylvester is the Visual Arts teacher, Fine Arts Director, sponsor of the Art Club, and co-sponsor of the DND Club and National Junior Honor Society at Robert E. Ellis Middle School. This is her twelfth year at Ellis and thirteenth year teaching. Before teaching at Ellis, she student taught in Chattanooga, Tennessee and then taught middle school art for a year and a half. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Art Education, and is certified for grades K-12 ... read more. Mrs. Sylvester has painted several murals at Ellis, and has organized many eighth grade Legacy Projects which are displayed throughout the school. Her students' artwork has been exhibited at Starbucks, Monthaven Mansion in Hendersonville, and the Frist Art Museum in Nashville. In addition to her teaching endeavors, she enjoys taking care of her three rescue dogs, creating in her art studio, selling her creations on Etsy, reading, traveling with her husband, visiting art museums, gardening and DIY projects.
