My name is Tiffany MarquART and I spend most of my days in the Captain Art Studio. I hope you enjoy your child's digital portfolio, it's fun to watch the artistic growth and development throughout their childhood.
Art education at Captain follows a T.A.B. philosophy (Teaching for Artistic Behaviors). In Kindergarten, we start off with very traditional "teacher-directed" lessons. However, in grades 1-5, I teach students how to be artists and to use artistic behaviors. 1- What do artists do? 2- The child is the artist. 3- The classroom is their studio. Enjoy! |
