I had no idea that when I grew up that I was going to be an art teacher, but now that I am, I realize that God had a plan all along. I loved my jr. high art teacher, but didn't do much art in high school. When I got into college, I didn't know what I wanted to study either, so I began taking lots of classes. I took an art class in college and that was it. I declared my art major. Then once I graduated with a B.A. in Art, I continued going to school to get my teaching credential. Now I get to do art all day long, and love getting kids to use their imagination and express themselves through art.
