Candi Lyons
I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a bachelors in fine arts and a visual art teaching certificate for grades K-12. I have been teaching Kindergarten through 8th grade art at North Lake School for 13 of 16 total years. I feel privileged to witness the growth of all my students from early childhood to adolescence. North Lake is a special school and community. I feel lucky to be a part of it!
I have an art studio at home and I particularly enjoy throwing clay on the pottery wheel and sculpting it. I like to participate in art fairs during the summer. For me, creativity and art are a way of life and I love teaching children (my favorite type of people) ways to use art as a means for deeper and more fulfilling lives. |
