Marica Shannon
As a native of Mitchell, I am proud to be teaching the visual arts at Mitchell High School. I began my training with an undergrad degree from the University of South Dakota and continued with a masters degree from Southwest Minnesota State University. I currently teach Introduction to Art, CTE Photography, Crafts, Pottery and Sculpture. This past year, we added the visual arts to the extra curricular opportunities so I can also add Coach to my duties.

Alyson Palmer
HI!! I am Alyson Palmer I have been an art teacher for about 15 years! I have taught Kindergarten through college level in that time and currently have been teaching at the Mitchell High School and Middle School for the past 4 years! I live just outside of town with my husband and 2 kids son Camdyn (5) and daughter Autysn (16months). We have 4 dogs and like to breed and raise hunting dogs. We love to hunt, bowhunt and go fishing!
