I love teaching and I love teaching Art! I have been teaching art to Kindergarten through 8th grade students at Metro since 2016. Before that I taught 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. My husband (who works for Harley Davidson) and I have three grown sons. Our oldest son and his wife are stationed in Maryland. They have a 2 year old daughter and are expecting a son in April 2025. Our youngest and his wife were stationed in California but have recently moved back to Michigan. Both are in the Marine Corps. I love visiting museums, especially art museums! The DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts) is a favorite since it is only 20 minutes away. Back in college I got to visit the Louvre in Paris, France. I was thrilled to see The Mona Lisa and many other amazing artworks!
I love creating art and inspiring others to create art too! One of my favorite places is Painting With a Twist where I can be with others who love creating as much as I do. I really appreciate the many artists who put videos on YouTube. I learn so much from them and am inspired to create art.
Someone once said, the Earth without art is E...h and I completely agree.
