Raquel Roy
My name is Raquel Roy and this is my Tenth year teaching high school art. I previously taught Spanish and Special Education in Tallahassee, Florida while I attended graduate school for Art Education at Florida State University. I completed my undergraduate degree in Painting and Education at Carson-Newman College. Before going to college, I grew up in Puebla, Mexico where I attended an international school from kindergarten to high school.
I believe art education is an experience in which art satisfies, empowers, and helps make individual and global connections to produce reciprocal relationships among teachers, students, and their peers in a safe environment. |
