Jennifer Jones I am looking forward to a great 2024-2025 school year. For those who are new to Little Mountain Elementary, I welcome you! Just a little bit about myself....My name is Jennifer Jones and this is my seventeenth year teaching art in Newberry County. This is my 20th year teaching, overall. I graduated from Cheraw High School in 2000, and received my undergraduate degree in Art Education and a minor in Art His ... read moretory from Winthrop University in 2005. In 2009, I received my National Board Certification in Early/Middle Childhood Art and in 2011, I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University. I was selected as Newberry County District Teacher of the Year in 2015. I am married to Elly Jones and we have two children. Jack Davis is in the 7th grade and Wilson (Wils) is in 3rd grade at LME. We live on Lake Murray and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, being out on the lake, playing with Jack Davis and Wils and working with polymer clay.
