Amanda Capalbo
Amanda Capalbo has been teaching for 10 years. She has happily spent the last 10 years with the staff and students of NYC Public schools. She believes that a good art curriculum consists of a balance between thought, practice and materials. She is reminded constantly of the creativity that lives within the youth of today due to their ideas which alway surpass her expectations. Her goal is for students to become active, reflective participants in their lives and communities!

At an early age, art has always been one of my passions. This passion grew with me as I grew into an adult. Then, I was encouraged by those around me to pursue career choices in the field of art. These encouraging words were the driven force behind me enrolling in an art program at Brooklyn College.
