Emily Shepard
Art has always been a way for me to connect and explore my fascination with the world. In turn, I love to share this fascination with others. As a teacher of art education, I strive to inspire young people to create, explore their ideas, play with new materials, and use creative strategies to problem solve. I challenge my students to discover their own process, their own unique talents, and above all encourage them to believe in themselves. As a student myself, I studied at FLCC (Fine Arts), TC3 (New Media), and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Visual Arts Education from SUNY New Paltz.
