Nate Morgan
Nate Morgan has been teaching Art at Hillside Elementary School in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York since 2001 where he teaches over 500 students in grades K-4. This year all 27 of his elementary classes took trips to various museums throughout the greater New York City region – one of these museum visits included online webinar sessions with the Metropolitan Museum of Art and was cited as a case study in the recently published book, "Unbound By Place or Time: Museums & Online Learning."
Nate sits on the Bo ... read moreard of Trustees for the New York State Art Teachers Association, helping to coordinate various art education symposiums and conferences within his region. Nate is the Elementary Division Eastern Region Representative–elect for the National Art Education Associaton. Nate also serves on the Educational Advisory Council for the Katonah Museum of Art and will be joining the Educational Advisory Board for Art:21- Art in the Twenty First Century. Prior to teaching at Hillside, Nate was the Associate Director of Admissions at Parsons School of Design, where he also coordinated the Parsons Summer Intensive Studies Program in Paris, France. Nate received his B.F.A. in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design and his M.A in Art Education from Columbia University Teacher’s College.
