Lisa Kanode
I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in K-12 Art Education from Wayne State College in May of 2000. From there I spent 3 years as the K-6 art teacher in Sidney, NE and then spent 4 year at Kearney Public Schools as one of the K-5 art teachers. My family was growing at this time so in 2007 I chose to be a stay-at-home mom for 7 years. I spent time as a substitute teacher in Shelton, NE where my kids were attending school. After completing a long term sub position with Kindergarten, my family decided it was time for me to pursue my career as a teacher once again. I have been the K-12 art teacher at Exeter-Milligan Public Schools since 2014.
