Marie Corfield
I graduated Montclair State University summa cum laude with a BFA in commercial art and illustration. I also have a Masters in Teaching from Marygrove College in Detroit, MI. After working for fifteen years as a graphic designer and illustrator, I got my teaching certification. I have been an art teacher since 2001 and have been at Robert Hunter Elementary since 2004. I run a choice-based studio where students work in various centers based on their interests and abilities. I love teaching elementary students because they are so creatively uninhibited. They inspire me every day.
