Chrissy Schmohl
My name is Chrissy Schmohl and I began teaching Art, Ceramics, and Yearbook at Clarke County High School in 2018. Previously I taught art at Johnson-Williams Middle School in the same county for 18 wonderful years. I graduated in 2000 from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Painting and Ceramics and a preK-12 teaching certification. I absolutely love teaching art--the history, techniques, theory...but the most satisfaction I get is when I witness a student recog ... read morenizing their talent for the first time. I enjoy using all media and often work along with my students in class. I also spend my school days doing graphic design, planning domestic and overseas field trips, and advising the yearbook staff. At my home outside of Front Royal, VA, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, two children, three black cats and and extra large silver Labradoodle. Together we love to travel to crazy places and make our home fun and beautiful. Of course I love to make art and do crafts, but I also am a big fan of movies, books, and tv shows about magic, monsters, and time travel.
