Art has been an adventure for me as far back as I can remember. I was told by my mother that I never showed any interest playing with dolls, but instead I was drawn to any crayon, pencil, or pen and scribble. Art is the only area in my life that I can express myself without using words. I grew up in Argentina and studied fine arts in college. Currently, I am an art teacher in an elementary school in Forth Worth,Texas. My art is very analytical, I have to look for every single variation colors, shapes, textures and lately glitter…oh yeah! I love glitter although not all my paintings have it. Audiobooks are my inspiration while I am painting, my cats my company, I talk to my paintings and probably my cats think, 'What's wrong with her?” I love my students and my school. I love music especially tango and country. Go figure! What interests me the most is aboriginal art, its legends, customs, and beliefs of indigenous peoples and modern art cubism, folk art and POP ART, I try to combine these styles when I am working. My style of painting is considered almost architectural structural where rhythm and balance have a role of great importance while the color explodes in vibrant tones.
