I am so excited to teach your child art this year. I look forward to guiding your child throughout their creative journey here at Grigsby and Alden Brown. Your child will have art once a week. In that time, we will create various pieces of artwork. We will learn about materials, techniques, and processes. Not every piece will be “frameable,” but please remember process over product. I will provide student-centered activities where your child will build problem-solving skills, be creative and reflect on feel ... read moreings and ideas while making connections to other artists, history and our community. ABOUT ME:
I live with my husband of 24 years, my 21-year-old daughter; a nursing student and soccer player for Wright State University, my 18-year-old son; a senior this year, a member of National Honor Society and looking to study environmental engineering at UC. I have 2 cats and a pleasantly plump Puggle. I love nature and I’m game for participating in any kind of outdoor activity! Our favorite activity is river surfing! Sounds crazy, but it is so much fun!
