I love teaching art at 56G! I have been teaching since 2006 after graduating from Calvin University. I can tell you that 5th and 6th grade kids are AWESOME! They are fun to work with and so eager they soak up the hands on learning that the arts provide! Problem solving, creativity, and artistic reasoning are some of my favorite topics that are imbedded in each of our lessons. I strive to demonstrate and highlight thinking strategies that work for problem solving in art and in life.
