I am an elementary art teacher of students in grades kindergarten through five. I teach at 2 schools in midcoast Maine that are part of a larger district, known as RSU 71. I see students for 45 minutes once a week for the whole school year. This averages to about around 35 art classes per year for each student. Time flies by fast when you account for instruction, demonstration, materials, work-time, and clean-up. We get right down to business!
