Hello artists! I'm Ms. Chicoine and am so happy to be one of your art teachers at Christine Grant. My goal for you is to learn how to utilize the principals of art and design when making your art. More importantly, I want you to never be afraid to unleash your creativity. Mistakes are key to learning. I want you to challenge yourself and learn to be resilient if your art doesn't turn out how you originally planned. That's where the most growth happens!
My mom is an artist so I've been doing art since a very young age. My favorite medium is clay, but I also enjoy the peace that comes with watercolor painting. Some of my favorite artists are Andy Goldsworthy, Joseph Cornell, Lenore Tawney, and Frida Kahlo. Happy art making! |
