Mariela Silberberg
My name is Mariela Silberberg and I am thrilled to be the Art Teacher at St. Dominic School. I teach Art from Kindergarten to 8th grade. So many different ages and all so fascinating in their own way!
I am all about letting children create and express themselves, while learning the fundamentals of visual arts. My lesson plans are open ended, because each child is unique and I want to see that reflected in their art. We are going to be doing a lot of painting, drawing, collages, printmaking, weaving, and even ceramics! Not only are we going to learn art techniques and experiment with different media, but we will also learn about art history and connect art lessons with everyday life. |
