Ms. Van Der Paardt
Hello my name is Mia van der Paardt and I live in Arden Hills with my husband, two children, a pug, and two kittens (brand new to our family!). My goal as a teacher is to give my students a safe place to discover their own creativity and help them realize that they are capable of more than they think. I have been teaching for 15 years and am very excited to be a part of the LGA team. I grew up in western Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout for my Art Education degree. Some of my favorite things include: spending time with my family, eating out at restaurants (especially Thai food), chai and matcha teas, painting, drawing, photography, being outdoors, visiting museums, and watching cooking videos.
