I believe it is important to create a space that promotes comfort and safety for the student which in turn encourages self-expression. I believe engaging students in learning how to think, how to creatively problem-solve, and be an artist is just as important as content knowledge and process skill mastery. I am dedicated to the understanding of a growth mindset, the not yet in life, the growth that comes with a struggle, do-overs, and like I was told…there are lots of ways to drive the truck, lots of ways to get from here to there and if you look where you are going… you will get there. I am always seeking excitement in possibilities and the next adventure.
