Leigh Ann Jones
Hello!
My name is Leigh Ann Jones, and I am so excited to be the art teacher at Lamar Christian School! This is my 8th year of teaching at LCS. It is such a joy to help my students explore, discover, and create. I have the best job in the world teaching and inspiring my students, and hopefully helping them learn about their world through the lens of art.

We experience a wide variety of media so that everyone builds their art knowledge and discovers a favorite medium. I personally love drawing, sculpting and mixed media arts. I sew, knit, crochet and do many types of crafts in my spare time.
I grew up in Senatobia, Mississippi. Art has always been my favorite subject, and I have so many fond memories of my own high school art classes because that's where I could be myself. I went to Delta State University where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design with a minor in Sculpture.
I am married to Scot and we have five boys who keep us very busy! When our family found LCS, we all fell in love with it almost immediately. We consider it a true blessing to be at this school where I can teach and our boys can learn in an environment that focuses on our Lord and Savior.
