I am so happy to be teaching lower school (PreK-5) art here at the Carmel School for my third year in a row, and my 12th year overall teaching art. I am fortunate to be a part of the Carmel School art department team, under the leadership of Ms. Cathy Stikes. I'm happy to be in my 11th year of teaching at the Carmel School. After being the only art teacher at Carmel for many years, I'm happy to say that we've grown so much that we had to hire two more art teachers (Mrs. Carter in LS and Ms. Karwacki in MS) so I now teach only upper school. In Carmel art classes the students have the opportunity to learn, discover, and create art in a huge variety of media and are inspired by art from around the world and at different times.
