My goal as an art teacher is to inspire visual awareness and foster intellectual development through the elements of art, art appreciation, principles of design, and how we see the world around us. I enjoy teaching students’ various mediums and techniques, encourage them to take risks with their art, introduce them to a variety of artists, and help them develop their creative confidence. I hope you enjoy the works posted by these young artists, they really are quite amazing and very special.

Hello, I have been teaching at the elementary level for 13 years. I have also taught art summer camps at the YMCA and MVNU for 4 years. My goal as an art teacher is to boost the recognition of our students' amazing talent. No matter what you do with your child's art, make sure they know it is important to you. Frame it, hang it on the refrigerator, boast their talents and encourage them to keep creating, it could change their lives.
