Teacher Bio: I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Digital Media from Otis College of Art & Design and am currently completing a Masters degree. Prior to teaching, I worke ... read mored in Fashion and Entertainment in the music business and film business. I also have several years of professional experience in graphic design and visual effect. In the past, I designed ads for a newspaper, clothing, posters, websites, and logos for businesses. I have had the great fortune to teach both digital and traditional art in high school.
I love to experiment with other forms of art such as printmaking, painting, knitting, and especially altered books. I am so excited to share my skills and love of art with the students at Silver Oak. But most of all, I love learning from them! Adolescents are so amazing and creative!
We are always accepting donations to the art department! Items we could use include markers, and glue sticks, masking tape, newspapers, paint as well as anything else you can think of!
