Amanda Peffer
I graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with an Elementary Education Degree with Endorsements for both Art and Middle School Language Arts. I taught art for five years in the Ritenour School District in St. Louis and one year in the Belton School District in Kansas City. I absolutely LOVE being an art teacher. Growing up the art room was always my most favorite place to be… my getaway! I had the most amazing art teachers Miss. Martin and Mrs. Franklin! These two ladies were my inspiration... the reason I am an Art Teacher today! I am really excited about sharing my love of the visual arts with the students at St. Luke’s.

Cathy Robey
Hello! My name is Cathy Robey and I am happy to be the art teacher at St. Luke's for the 2017-18 school year! I received both my Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters in Education degrees from Drake University. I love my Catholic faith and very much enjoy sharing my faith with my students and nurturing their God given artistic and creative abilities.
In my free time I enjoy creating my own artwork, photography, backpacking and camping, cooking and reading. |
