I have been an advocate for ART all of my life and a self taught artist by traveling the world and studying Art from the past, present and now the future. I have stood in Awe 1 foot away from a Vincent Van Gogh Painting imagining his every brush stroke as he painted and actually seeing the brush strokes through his way of painting. I just LOVE Art!

After graduating I began a career in the Airline Industry where I did a little bit of everything! My love for art continued and I began painting in my home to create art for my own walls. I got married and realized the Airline business was not a good fit. I left knowing I wanted to help people, help them see the beauty in the world through travel. I became a Travel Agent. That is when I did most of my International travel and always had the passion of art in my mind and on my heart when I visited so many different cultures and museums.
I didn't begin painting until after my children were ages 3 and 2. I joined the Charlotte Art League where I became involved in and with juried art shows and opportunities that allowed me to focus on my art. My first Juried piece was in the Spring Art show and then a year later I entered and donated a painting specifically for the 2006 Art with Heart auction benefiting those affected by domestic violence. Life became a little bit too busy for my own art and I needed to find a career that would allow me to be home for my littleones. Fortunately, I landed the perfect fit at my childrens Pre School "Tot Time Creative Learning Center" where I still work today! The first 7 years was regular class instruction where I still had the opportunity to be creative and then the Lead Teacher for Art position became available and I have and continue to enjoy every moment of it. The Best Job I have ever had! So much Joy and so much Fun and that is why I am a Pre School Art Teacher!
