Brigid Bartels
Brigid received her BFA in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. She spent several years learning and teaching in New Orleans before moving back to Virginia in 2021. Brigid fell in love with Montessori Education after spending one year as an assistant teacher. In 2022, Brigid accepted her position as the 1st-8th grade art teacher at RMS . She is excited to continue bringing her love for art and the Montessori philosophy to RMS!

Zoe Williamson
Welcome to our online art gallery for Richmond Montessori! A little about me.. After graduating from VCU arts in Painting and Printmaking I have been busy painting and evolving as an artist. Most of my work is inspired from my travels and for my love of anything nature related! With a passion for art and teaching I am so excited to be working in the art department. Art is such a powerful tool that can help children express their thoughts, think creatively and problem solve through difficult moments. It will be a fun filled year with lots of experimenting and creative thinking!
