Mrs. E.
Hello! My name is Andrea Eisenberger, and this is my 13th year teaching art (my 4th at TOES). After many years as a graphic designer in publishing and marketing, I decided to go to graduate school and get my teaching license. I have been living my passion ever since. I have a B.F.A. in Studio Art from Old Dominion University and an M.A.T. in Art Education from UNC-Charlotte. I have taught every grade level from PK-12th, but elementary is my absolute favorite. Additionally, I am a graduate of VBCPS (go Patri ... read moreots!), and I am so thankful to be able to teach for the district that made a huge impact on who I am today.
My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that every child has their own unique gifts, talents, and strengths. I work with each child to discover what creative endeavors they most enjoy. I also believe that art class is a great place to connect to our larger community and the world.
For my personal artmaking, I am a potter and a weaver. I also like to draw. In my free time, you can find me at the community pottery studio I belong to, spending time with my family or playing some silly game on my phone. My hobbies include hiking, riding roller coasters, and crocheting.
I am so very thankful to be a part of the Three Oaks wolfpack, and I look forward to watching your child grow during their time here too!
