Maria Pita
Hi all! My name is Maria Pita and I've been teaching since 1989, way before many of you were born :). I am an F. I. U alumni, where I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary and Early Childhood education as well as Masters degree in Reading. I am also certified in Art and endorsed in Gifted Education. I've taught all elementary grade levels and have spent about the last 18 years working in gifted education. This is my eigth year teaching Visual Arts, and I feel quite excited and blessed about that!! I hope to combine my love of teaching, sharing knowledge, and creative skills to make it a very exciting, positive, and fulfilling year for all of my students.
