Nicole Buettner
Education and art have always been aspects of life that excite me. I view both as ways to better oneself by gaining new skills and information, to think more abstractly, and to expand what we know about the world. I believe that being involved with art creates a unique power that allows people to spend time reflecting on the world around them. Sally Elvart
My name is Sally Elvart and I have been making art all my life both as a hobby and professionally as a graphic designer. I received my BFA in Graphic Design from U of I Urbana-Champaign. After raising my own little artists, I decided to continue the teaching aspect of art, part time. I went back to school for a Masters in Elementary Education with an endorsement in art. While I truly enjoy working as a designer, I missed sharing my love of art with kids. They have so much imagination to share in their work and I consider it a privilege to be part of that process.
