Welcome to Artsonia! I am a traveling art teacher and have the pleasure and blessing to work with wonderful children K-12 in Christian schools and home school organizations. Due to the many locations I work, I have made uploading artwork easier for myself by lumping some of the locations I work under one name.
I have been participating in Artsonia since 2002. It does take a lot of my personal time to upload and edit the artwork, (I fall behind a lot) but I feel the benefits of displaying artwork public ... read morely for friends, family and onlookers to see is worth the joy and esteem it brings to my students. Because I have many students that have me as their teacher for years, Artsonia is also a great way to record their growth and keep track of projects for each child. It always amazes me to see the progress year after year. In addition, Artsonia has also been a fantastic fund raiser. I don't stress it much, but it is a wonderful reward for the students when the funds go toward something I would normally pass up for the classroom. I have also been wonderfully surprised when students show up to class proudly holding or wearing the art they created on a fun keepsake.
Thank you for taking the time to look at and admire the student artwork. I am truly proud of them all and feel blessed to be their teacher.
