In my art classes during the school year we work on various art project that stress the seven basic elements that make up all art; line, shape, color, form, value, texture and space. My emphasis for my students in art is; doing their best, problem solving and HAVING FUN!
This is my fourth year teaching elementary art at GCS. Additionally I have worked with children in numerous artistic capacities for over twenty-five years as a pre-school teacher, Sunday school teacher, scout leader, camp counselor, youth sponsor, etc. I was always highly involved in my children’s school as they were growing up. What a joy that I am now able to volunteer in my grandchildren‘s school as well. |
