My experience with art began when I was very little, one girl in my class in kindergarten told me that she was jelous that I always won the coloring contest; however, I do not remember that. My mom also noticed that I was particularliy gifted paying attention to detail in my artwork. It wasnt really until the 9th grade that I began to focus more on creating artworks. It was then that I began taking art lessons.
I pursued a fine arts degree at Covenant College on Lookout Mtn., GA. After I graduated in 2006, I began teaching art at a Classical Christian School in Dothan, AL. where I have been ever since. I teach first through fifth grade art. I enjoy teaching these children a love for arts and a love for being creative. |
