Thank you for visiting our Artsonia page! Our art room follows the philosophy of T.A.B. (Teaching for Artistic Behavior), where students learn the Studio Habits of Mind as well as the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Students are encouraged to explore new materials, practice skills, come up with original ideas, problem solve, and collaborate while they gain confidence, independence, and grow as an artist. Every work you see in your child's portfol ... read moreio is student-centered, meaning that after learning about different materials and practicing skills, they envisioned what they wanted to create, planned out how to make it, chose their own materials, then created their own Wonderful Original Work! They even learn how to take photos of their work and upload them to Artsonia! I am so proud of their accomplishments and hard work!!
