Meet the Teachers  at Montessori Child Development Center (Poway, California)

Catherine OSullivan Welcome to Artsonia! Finally, I published artwork for the students at MCDC. I am so proud of each and every one of them. I began teaching art way back in 1985 at Mission Bay Montessori Academy after graduating from SDSU and UCSD. In addition, I taught music, computer and drama classes to elementary students, dabbled a little with after school program, mainly teaching computer graphics, set and costume design for my drama classes. I started my own art program at MCDC in Poway three years ago. Each year since, I sponsor an art show in the Spring, which displays over 100 pieces of different art media/work-ages 3-7. Currently, students from MCDC have entered the "Art in Literature" contest at the San Diego Museum of Art. This is our second year in the competition and we have another winner....Kenadi! Our 4th (2011) year winners: Xander Alexander, 2013 San Diego Museum of Art Winners are: Maya Villagomez, Liam Nicotera and Ethan Zaho. Bravo!
