Ashley Todd
Ashley Todd joins us for her first year at Potter’s Clay! She is teaching Foundational Art (ages 10-12), Intermediate Art (ages 13-18) as well as Advanced Art (ages 13-18). She is a passionate artist educated in studio art, graphic design and ministry with several years experience in a variety of roles within the art world. She has a heart for encouraging artists of all ages to create with both freedom and excellence to glorify God.
 
Gina McAndrew
As the studios’ s founder, Potter’s Clay has been a huge part of my life for nearly 20 years! We enjoy teaching key concepts in art to kids and adults from 4-100, infusing their learning with biblical truths that bring glory to God. Our students learn skills and techniques that enable them to apply art in the real world, and many have gone on to publish and illustrate books, commission drawings for area businesses, design buildings, and more! Courtney Grossmann
Courtney is starting her third year at Potter’s Clay and teaches our beginning middle and high school students. She has also taught music to our littles in the past. Courtney is an accomplished artist who loves watercolor painting, and has taught several adult watercolor card workshops. She brings a breath of fresh air to the classroom, creating fun and engaging projects for her students!
 
Jessica Scheltens
Jessica is an early childhood specialist, and the wife of a children’s minister. She brings a wealth of skills and talents to Potter’s Clay as she steps into the role of teaching our very youngest two and three year old kiddos this year. We are excited to see the creativity she brings through art, puppetry, music and story in her classroom!
 
Joanie Lilly
Joanie is our fearless director and STEAM expert, who also specializes in amazing crocheted creations! As a published crochet pattern designer, Joanie teaches child and adult crochet classes, as well as creative writing and occasional STEAM classes. Her talent as an experienced homeschool mom is a gift that she passes onto other women through mentorship and fellowship at Potter’s Clay!
 
Josh West
Josh West studied graphic design, photography and painting in college. He has been a graphic designer for 15+ years and a professional real estate photographer for 10+ years.
 
Katie West
Katie is our early childhood expert and does a fantastic job with our 4-9 year olds! Being an avid artist herself, Katie’s cheerful disposition creates a loving and cheerful atmosphere of learning for our youngest students! Additionally, Katie serves in the Parents as Teachers program in her school district and knows exactly how to engage students in a way that increases their learning of new skills and challenges!
 
Mariah Drew
Mariah is a talented, up and coming artist who specializes in water color portraits and housing elevations. She joins us this year to teach our upper elementary to middle school aged students. Mariah has a heart for art and missions, and is also serving as a missionary with CREW Ministries during the school year. Fun fact: Mariah is our second teacher to be publishing student work on Artsonia in addition to having her own student work published on Artsonia in the past!
