Andy Anderson
Andy Anderson was born in Winnemucca, Nevada and has lived there for 22 years. After attending Nortwestern College in St. Paul, Minn he came back and has been teaching for 7 years. He teaches ArtII, Advanced Art, Basic and Advanced Ceramics, and at the local Great Basin College he teaches Art History and Ceramics.

Courtney Rorex
Courtney Rorex was born in Battle Mountain/Austin, Nevada and has lived in Winnemucca, Nevada for 18 years. After attending NNCC in Elko, Nevada and University of Nevada, Reno, she has been teaching for 22 years. Now she is teaching ArtI, Sewing and Crafts at Lowry High School.

Claude Mone and the Impressionist were influential to Courtney as well as the Renaisance period, style wise. She loves to have any kind of arts and crafts projects going and travels and fishes whenever she can.

Courtney says the fun-est project she does with her classes is to use 'BUTTERMILK' to paint with.
 
Irene Kottke
Irene Kottke was born in Battle Moutain, Nevada. She attended Savannah college of Art and Design, and has been in Winnemucca teaching at Lowry High School for 3 years. Irene teaches ArtI, Basic Drawing, and Graphic Design. The Pop Art Movement and Roy Lichenstein has influenced her creativity the most. Her favorite thing to do, when she can, is to go to the movies.

When asked what is the weirdest art experience, she said "I managed to get a funeral home to donate a coffin for my senior film project. Then it was quite a site transporting it to the set by tying it to the roof of my car."
